he did it way too late, after getting called out by many of his former teammates.. including OGs from the early dynasty that had more of a hand in winning those rings

he didnt want the smoke

I'm sure he was absolutely terrified that Asante Samuel was angry and threatening...

According to The Athletic’s Dianna Russini, the Bengals aren’t shopping the No. 1 pick of the 2020 NFL Draft:

“Despite the hopes and dreams of Minnesota Vikings fans, the Cincinnati Bengals have no intention of trading Joe Burrow — to Minnesota or anywhere else. As for Burrow’s overall happiness? Bengals star wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase told me he isn’t worried about Burrow’s future, despite late-season speculation after another missed playoff opportunity.”
Russini did add that Minnesota “will be looking to bring on a veteran quarterback after a disappointing 2025 season at the position.” There is speculation that they could reunite with Kirk Cousins, whom the Atlanta Falcons will likely cut or release in the offseason.

Dude is probably gonna make bank again. He played pretty well down the stretch for the falcons, and this is not a good draft for quarterbacks.A decent amount of teams are gonna want a one or two year answer, I'm guessing.

Gotta wonder if Cousins is going to put himself in a position to get screwed over again, which is exactly what he'd be doing if he went back to Minnesota and the JJ McCarthy situation. If Cousins actually wants to start, there are probably better options out there.

I seem to recall that he was a little bit disconcerted with the way minnesota handled his departure, so i'm not sure he would go back there. though maybe he would if it were more of a function of that general manager who has now been fired.

Any team wanting to sign his old ass is most likely going to be a similar situation in that they are also going to have a young QB for him to mentor, and/or beat out.

This is not thought to be a good QB prospect draft. So there shouldn't be a lot of the "He's a high pick, so you know..." situations out there this season.

The cast on the n f l game day morning show is getting super emotional rn and some are in tears over this merger.I feel like some people are going to be losing their jobs, and they're probably going to be people from n f.L network that I actually like listening to versus espn turds.

I agree with that, I'm just saying with his current level of play, he's not a top 15 starter. He's certainly not a SB winning level QB. If he's going to start it's gonna be a team like the Jets, which what is the point of that for him. Maybe the Cards, Steelers, Miami, could be potentially in.. Falcons are obviously out, Raiders are getting their guy #1.. who else is there?

  • If Rodgers calls it quits, Cousins would make good sense for Pittsburgh.
  • Miami would just be a paycheck in a great weather city, because he's not getting past both the Bills and Patriots in the next 2 years, and the team is expected to ship out talent in the offseason.
  • Arizona has possibilities, but they'd need to cut loose the midget and still spend some real money on other positions, and that's a tough division.
  • Going to the Jets would be the retarded version of going to Miami.
  • Cleveland is a theoretical possibility, as well.
  • Colts might work, if Jones doesn't get re-signed there. He's expected to, but nothing's final until it's final.

I think the Cards are definitely done with the midget.

I think that would be stupid of them to trade him.He filled in very well when needed. And purdy seems to get nicked up every year. If they let him go in free agency after next year, they'll get a comp pick for sure.
