NFL General News

This dude is so fucking annoying. I guarantee he ends up with one of those big analyst jobs so he can be a moron and get paid for it like all the rest of those guys.
Jordan or Allen?

The data shows that the problem has been the Bills defense, not the offense. This is every playoff game after his first, which I couldn't get to fit in the screenshot:

Meanwhile, the number of points the opponents have scored in the Bills' recent playoff losses, going backwards from most recent, and leaving out that first playoff loss since it didn't fit in the snapshot and was far enough back that it doesn't really matter:

Yeah, I understand people blaming Allen for this year‘s loss even though Denver‘s defense is lockdown and he still scored a lot of points. But four turnovers is four turnovers and that’s almost always a loss. But in general, Allen has played really damn well, and despite being labeled as a playoff choker. Most of his losses are games that you should expect to win in the playoffs when you score in the mid to high 20s or low 30s with relatively good ball protection.

People don’t seem to remember just how horrendous Peyton Manning was in the playoffs. He was extremely nervous and refused to throw anything that could be perceived as risky. The Colts were just not getting it done on offense and then would blame the defense and all his teammates. Nothing like the situation with Allen, who is basically just playing at the same level as during the regular season, which is pretty goddamn high.

He's a rival. Any type of perceived weakness shown, you attack it and never let up!!

Fox Sports insider Jay Glazer said that Crosby was done with the Raiders. He speculated that the right package for Crosby would be higher than what the Dallas Cowboys got for Micah Parsons. Sports Illustrated’s John Maakaron wrote on Wednesday that the Detroit Lions are Crosby’s first choice in a potential trade.

“According to multiple sources with knowledge of the situation, if the decision is made by the Raiders’ front office to trade the 28-year-old, the Detroit Lions are Crosby’s clear first choice,” Maakaron wrote.

Not news, but a take:

Jonathan Hutton and Chad Withrow have taken OutKick's Hot Mic to the West Coast for Super Bowl LX, and on Thursday's show, they sat down with former NFL quarterback Jeff Garcia.

Garcia — who spent 11 seasons in the NFL with the 49ers, Browns, Lions, Eagles, and Buccaneers — talked about how the way that quarterbacks are not developing the way they used to.

It started when Hutton mentioned how so many quarterbacks are switching schools in college that they're not fully understanding the system they're playing in and hurting their development...
