NFL General News

The NFL has started a new issue just days before the Super Bowl. The league named social media creator Dhar Mann as its first-ever Chief Kindness Officer. The decision quickly faced criticism. Many fans questioned the choice after learning about his past fraud conviction.

The NFL says it wants Mann to promote kindness and good sportsmanship around the Super Bowl. Super Bowl LX will take place next week in Santa Clara, California. The game will feature the New England Patriots and the Seattle Seahawks.

The league praised Mann as a positive and influential storyteller. It said his videos help people feel understood and connected. Mann responded by saying he is honored and excited to take on the role.

However, critics pointed to his legal past. In 2014, Mann pleaded no contest to five felony fraud charges. Prosecutors said he took city grant money meant for building improvements in Oakland. The court gave him five years of probation and ordered him to repay $44,399.

The NFL mentioned that Mann had setbacks in his past but did not share details about the conviction. That lack of detail led to more backlash on social media.

Mann built his early career in the marijuana business. He earned the nickname ganjapreneur. At the time of his legal troubles, he ran a real estate company and a luxury car rental firm. He also served as CEO of weGrow, a business known as the Walmart of Weed.

Reports from that period described bitter legal fights with business partners. Mann later paid his fines and finished probation early.

Today, he runs Dhar Mann Studios. The company produces short motivational videos for social media. His YouTube channel boasts more than 26 million subscribers. His videos have reached over 100 billion views across platforms.

Forbes recently ranked him No. 2 on its list of top creators for 2025. The magazine estimated his yearly earnings at $56 million.

Not all attention around his company stays positive. In 2023, some actors who worked for Dhar Mann Studios staged protests. They claimed the company underpaid them and treated them unfairly.

Mann pushed back hard. He said, “These protestors represent a small percentage of the thousands of actors we have and do not represent the views of all actors.”

He also added, “The protestors have said that I won’t meet with actors and did not show up for a planned meeting. That’s not true.” Moreover, he addressed “the misinformation being spread by protestors that we don’t pay our actors. This is 100 per cent not true.”

Now the NFL hopes his message reaches football fans. Supporters say his life story shows growth and change. Critics argue the league picked the wrong person to represent kindness.

Between this clown and the halftime show, the NFL is embarrassing itself over nonsense. But it can afford to do that, because people watch the Super Bowl as an event, with a chunk of them watching as much for the commercials as the game, a chunk of them having it on jut as an excuse for a party, etc...

So the "viewership" numbers stay high even though the number of people actually watching drops.

Kevin Stefanski has made another addition to his coaching staff in Atlanta.

Tom Pelissero of NFL Media reports that the Falcons are hiring Alex Van Pelt as their quarterbacks coach. Van Pelt was a senior offensive assistant with the Rams during the 2025 season.

Van Pelt worked on Stefanski’s Browns staff from 2020-2023 as the offensive coordinator and he was also the quarterbacks coach in his final season with Cleveland. He was succeeded by Ken Dorsey and was replaced by Tommy Rees in 2025. Rees will also be the coordinator in Atlanta...

If only we had a clue... some small hint.... about why the Vikings canned their GM. If only...

Vikings wide receiver Justin Jefferson wonders what might have been for his team this season if it had kept quarterback Sam Darnold around.

Asked in an interview with USA Today if he has thought about whether it could be the Vikings in the Super Bowl instead of the Seahawks if Darnold were in Minnesota instead of Seattle, Jefferson answered, “Yeah, for sure, definitely.”...

Justin Jefferson: I definitely feel like we would have done better with Sam Darnold

The fucking Left Ruins Everything. FUCKING EVERYTHING.

Buffalo Bills cornerback Dorian Strong may be forced to retire at the age of 23, general manager Brandon Beane announced.

Dorian Strong’s promising rookie season ended abruptly when he suffered a serious neck injury in a Week 4 win over the New Orleans Saints. The Bills drafted the Virginia Tech product in the sixth round (177th overall) last season,

Unfortunately, there’s a good possibility that the neck injury will prompt Strong to retire after just four games.

Per Matt Parrino of Syracuse.com, Brandon Beane said Strong’s “serious” injury may require surgery. At this time, it’s unclear whether Strong will be able to play football again.

“It’s a very serious deal,” Beane said. “He’s potentially going to have a procedure that will determine whether he can play.”

Strong showed promise during his four games with Buffalo. Sean McDermott’s defense finished No. 1 against the pass, with Strong and fellow rookie Maxwell Hairston providing big boosts in the secondary.

With the way Buffalo’s defense played in their Divisional Round loss to the Denver Broncos? It’s not a stretch to say they could have won with a healthy Strong in the secondary. The playoff loss cost Sean McDermott his job, with offensive coordinator Joe Brady taking over the HC duties.

Buffalo’s defense has plenty of young talent, but it would look better if Strong were able to get healthy and return to the football field.

Damn shame. I remember him from last year's draft, and thought the Billdos found themselves good value in the 6th round with him. Good luck to the kid whatever he decides.

The Cardinals made it official Sunday, announcing they have agreed to a five-year contract with Mike LaFleur.

LaFleur replaces Jonathan Gannon as the team’s new head coach.

“I couldn’t be more fired up to become the head coach of the Arizona Cardinals and am beyond grateful to [owner] Michael [Bidwill] and [General Manager] Monti [Ossenfort] for this opportunity,” LaFleur said in a statement. “Having competed against them in the NFC so many times in recent years, I know the type of talent and toughness the team has and cannot wait to get to Arizona to hit the ground running.”..

It looks like the Raiders have found their next head coach.

While it won’t become official until after Super Bowl LX, Las Vegas has zeroed in on Seattle offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak for the job, according to multiple reports.

Kubiak met with both the Cardinals and Raiders — the two remaining teams with head coaching vacancies — over the weekend, with Las Vegas apparently coming away as the better fit...
