After watching Russell Wilson pass for 450 yards Sunday, Cowboys owner Jerry Jones announced a signing postgame.

The Cowboys signed edge rusher Jadeveon Clowney before Sunday’s game, Jones said.

The Vikings have several injury concerns coming off of Sunday night’s loss to the Falcons, but one stands out above the others.

Head coach Kevin O’Connell told reporters in his Monday press conference that J.J. McCarthy is unlikely to play in Week 3 against the Bengals due to an ankle sprain.

“J.J. McCarthy did come in very, very sore today with the ankle sprain. I would anticipate we are not planning on having him for Sunday,” O’Connell said. “And don’t likely see this being any kind of short-term IR [injured reserve] thing. But, I do want to see … how he responds to treatment this week...

The 0-2 Texans are set to get some help at the wide receiver spot.

Head coach DeMeco Ryans said at a Monday press conference that the team expects to have Christian Kirk and Braxton Berrios back for their Week 3 game against the Jaguars. Both players missed the first two games of the season with hamstring injuries.

The Texans have scored the fewest points in the league through the first two weeks of the season, so anything that has the potential to change that will be a welcome addition to the offense...

Justin Fields will not be on the field against the Buccaneers this Sunday.

Jets head coach Aaron Glenn ruled Fields out for Week 3 during his Wednesday press conference. Fields suffered a concussion in last Sunday’s loss to the Bills and will need to clear the concussion protocol in order to play against the Dolphins on Monday night in Week 4.

Tyrod Taylor will get the start for the Jets. He was 7-of-11 for 56 yards and a touchdown against the Bills and last started a game while with the Giants in 2023...
