NFL General News

Went with Vikings over Bears for my work suicide-pool. Felt like the safest pick with a team I don’t care about keeping for later.

I was really on the fence between Vikings over Bears or Patriots over Raiders. If Raiders didn’t take Pete Carroll and Chip Kelly and get Brady as a co-owner, I’d say it’s one of the few Patriot locks this season (maybe the only), but who the fuck knows what’s going to happen with a first-game Vrabel versus first-game Pete Carroll.

Would rather take the Patriots week 1 and have the Vikings for later but obviously only if the Patriots win lol

Lot of people going Bengals over Browns.
I don’t trust Cinci in week #1 in any season.

I can see the Jets playing inspired football and humbling old man Rodgers. Don’t think Pitt is that good a pick either.

Have until kickoff to change it if anyone feels as semi confident as I do about Pats v Raiders. That’s why it’s between that and Vikings and nothing else, but really this is all a complete mystery right now, for New England and Las Vegas.

The Chiefs get repeatedly blown out in Super Bowls and the Mahomes ball washers still refer to it as the Chiefs era.

I’ll always be grateful to the Eagles for destroying them so bad they cancelled the 50 yard-line, confetti-draped, post-game marriage proposal.

We are about to annihilate the whole league. The LT position is fixed. Mahomes will be back to 2022 levels

You weakened yourself at LG, your RBs are a year older not a year better, your WRs are big question marks, and your TE is more interested in getting pegged by a wooden door than he is in playing football.

I'm not saying that the Chiefs can't/won't win, since the QB competition is flashy but second rate at the top, and there's not a single AFC team besides the Chiefs that really knows how to win in the playoffs. But I'm suggesting that you don't bet the farm.
