Is Adam in Heaven?

The short answer is, we do not know. And we will never know until/if we get there.

But it's an interesting question. The first human creation may not have been saved. It is usually clear when a major Old Testament figure has salvation. Often, it is said God changed his heart, or something along those lines.

Adam did admit to his sin. However, his final words recorded were blaming Eve for his sin. NO REPENTANCE!

Obviously, we don't know what the remainder of his life was like. It wasn't recorded. And if we were meant to know, God would have told us.

I'm betting Adam and Eve followed in the steps of their son Seth. But who knows.

Some more thoughts on our oldest grandparents, Adam and Eve....

It is popular to blame Eve (in a semi joking manner) for bringing sin and suffering upon humanity. The reality? Adam was worse.

1. Eve admitted her fault. When God asked what she had done, she admitted she had ben deceived by the serpent and ate the fruit. It was a confession.

2. Adam pointed the finger at Eve, simply saying she gave it to her so he ate it. No fault. No admission of guilt.

Eve's sin was trusting the great deceiver and being fooled. Adam's sin was pure disobedience. To this day, Satan's method of destruction for us is to distract us, fool us, and try to get us to question God's authority/omniscience. Eve was his first victim. But Adam? He wasn't fooled. He simply went along and willfully disobeyed God.

I do look forward to the opportunity to ask them for more details though...assuming they and I are in the same place eternally, of course!

Well, did Adam learn over the course of his life how bad he messed up? Did he truthfully seek forgiveness?

See my first post. We just don't know.

We are shown how some monumental sinners and otherwise bad people (Saul being a prime example) were saved. With Adam and Eve, there are no details. They just dropped off the page, so to speak.

The truth is that it just doesn't matter, or we would be shown. But it's a fun question.

Interesting. So, will the Dingle Casino take bets? I picture arriving at the Pearly Gates, and St. Peter saying "Welcome, but sorry. Adam didn't make it so you lost the bet."

St. Peter? Why would he be meeting me or anyone?

This could get fun...😂
