Humility is such an important Christ-like virtue preached throughout Scriptures.
One of my favorite examples of proper humility comes from Peter. Regarded as the closest apostle to Jesus, he could have been obnoxiously arrogant. A superstar.
As Peter was coming in, Cornelius met him
and fell down at his feet and worshipped him.
But Peter lifted him up, saying,
"Stand up, I myself am also a man."
- Acts 10:25-26
Peter demonstrated that ALL praise and glory belong to Jesus. Think of all the arrogant d-bag elites we have in our society. Their downfall will be fugly.
