Great Moments in Pro Wrestling

Chief Jay Strongbow and His Notorious Backstage Reputation

Joe Scarpa was a cheap motherfucker, no doubt: Handsome Jimmy Valiant tells the story about one evening when he had only been in the WWWF for a short while during the very early 1970s... He, Scarpa & Gorilla Monsoon were driving on the NJ Turnpike and Monsoon said that he didn't have any cash for the toll; so Scarpa very reluctantly gave him a $20 and told him to count the change to ensure its correctness... When they arrived at the booth, Monsoon quietly pulled-out a couple of bucks, gave them to the attendant, and loudly told him to keep the change as he drove away... Scarpa, believing that was his $20, went apeshit and demanded that the car be turned-around so that he could retrieve the rest, nearly grabbing the steering wheel from Monsoon's hands while a young Jimmy Valiant, who saw the whole thing from the back seat, was laughing his ass off...

I used to love watching battle royals live... I liked to see what wrestlers not involved in the main skirmish were doing, off to the side...
yeah you seem like a guy that likes to sit and watch :)
