Cora Combs, Danny Hodge, former NWA World Champion Pat O'Connor (defeated by Buddy Rogers at Comiskey Park in Chicago), mostly California-based (like Fred Blassie) John & Chris Tolos (John challenged Sammartino for the WWWF belt during Both of his reigns), former early WWWF tag-team champion (with Rene Goulet) Karl Gotch, who beat the first "WWWF" champions Tarzan Tyler & Crazy Luke Graham then lost to Baron Mikel Scicluna & King Curtis Iuakea... Jack Pfefer might've been an early mover & shaker in either the NWA or later the AWA or WWWF, forget which off the top of my head...
