I wonder what Wahoo really thought of dudes like Joe Scarpa & Saddam Hussein's buddy...
I love my weed. I've been smoking for over 50 years now. What's pretty cool is the price has come way down since they legalized it. I'm paying $60 an ounce now, for high THC content weed. Much cheaper and better than drinking IMHO.Two of my favorite words that begin with W.

When I first started, it was in 71. I used to buy Lids for $15. That was a baggie absolutely filled to the top. I had a paper route, mowed lawns and shoveled driveways to make money. I could buy it because I usually had a little money and weed was a priority for me. I remember one time I had to pay $20 for a lid and thinking I got ripped off. That is until I started smoking it. It was Acapulco Gold. After a joint, I figured it was worth the price. Great tasting, not harsh and a really nice buzz.Had smoked occasionally and would split the odd ounce (almost always the brown - and very Male - Mexican/Columbian for $30-35) every now and then, especially beginning my senior year of high school; but it wasn't until the late spring of 1977 after my senior year classes ended and I began working 6-8-hour shifts at the old Sears warehouse in the Landmark building near Fenway Park and making some real money that I was able to buy my own weed; and except for some logistical barriers - boot camp, piss tests, etc I've been buying & smoking ever since... The missus says that I gotta use the pre-rolled only now that we're sharing a closet in our bedroom because she doesn't want the smell of the real thing to permeate the smaller place... Fine by me; now that we're back in MA I can take a walk to the little park down the street and smoke away...![]()

As a matter of fact, my friend and I got booted out of Fenway for smoking in the Grandstand section.. I think it was 81 and Fenway was ghost town. After 8 or 9 beers, it seemed like a good idea to go to an empty part of the park and smoke one. We were halfway through when a security guard came up and told us we had to leave. It was this HUGE black dude, so I decided the better thing to do is leave rather than arguing with him. As we were walking through the concourse he said to me "Man, you can't be doing that shit here in Fenway". It wasn't too bad getting kicked out. It was the bottom of the 8th and Sox were getting killed 14-4. We beat the rush for the T.
I go through about an ounce a month now. But I don't drink anymore.
