The path to a playoff contending team is right there. They just have to find a way to execute it. Example:
Get Stanley and either another OT or an OG and you've got at least 4/5 of your OL set for the season
Get Kupp and a WR1 (Adams or Brown) and you've got all the WRs you need
Get Holland for the FS role
At that point, the pick at #4 becomes less critical, and can be more of a "flier" type, whether than be on the defense side of the ball or the TE. Or, if you get lucky, one of the two blue chippers falls to the team, and they can grab that guy.
Once you do that, you're looking at needing DL, maybe a CB, and depth, with an offense that should be more than enough to give the team playoff contender status.

According to NBC Sports Boston's Phil A. Perry, Las Vegas Raiders wideout Jakobi Meyers could be an option for the Patriots via trade. The former undrafted free agent left New England in 2023 after failing to agree on a long-term contract extension with Bill Belichick.
Instead of re-signing Meyers, the team opted to sign veteran wideout JuJu Smith-Schuster, who was cut after one season in New England. Meyers went on to establish himself as one of the top weapons in the Raiders' offense by racking up 71 catches for 807 yards and eight touchdowns in 2023.
He followed that effort up with a career-high 87 catches for 1,027 yards and four touchdowns last season. Perry wrote:
"Industry sources believe a former McDaniels pupil in both New England and Las Vegas, Jakobi Meyers, could also be an option via trade. He's going into the final year of his deal with the Raiders."
Meyers returning to New England would give the team a reliable slot option for Josh McDaniels' offense. The Patriots can't change the past mistake of letting Meyers walk out of the door, but they could make things right by bringing him back into the fold and starting anew.
