FORT WORTH, Texas (WKRC) - A Texas man was shot and killed following an argument over French fries, Fort Worth police said.
Officers were called to an apartment complex around 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, after reports of a shooting. Police found an adult man with a gunshot wound to the head.
Officers performed CPR before the victim was taken to a hospital, where he later died from his injuries, police said.
Investigators said the shooting stemmed from a verbal argument between friends that escalated after the victim refused to share French fries with the suspect. The suspect fled the scene and has been identified through witness interviews, though authorities have not released the person’s name.
Police said the suspect lives in the same apartment complex. Despite searching the area and the suspect’s apartment, officers have not located the individual.
Detectives with the Fort Worth Police Department’s Gun Violence Unit are continuing the investigation.
The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office will identify the victim and determine the official cause and manner of death.

Sounds interesting and absolutely worth the try, but I wonder if cutting the "cake" would be a problem.
