Endless Mock Drafts

did a trade back with atlanta for this one.. i like the way it turned out... elite OT, future QB, some shots at WR/RB and a 1st and 2nd next year

i cant be the only one addicting to mock drafts.. this one was from sportskeeda.com

I haven't really started diving into the draft, still gambling and doing daily fantasy, but I'm sure I'll get into these soon. What are your favorite free simulators?

one of my favorite draft sim sites is fanspeak, you can load different player rankings into it from different people to mix it up and get different results

https://fanspeak.com/ontheclock-nfl-mock-draft-simulator/

some of the simulators have 1 set of player rankings, so you dont get any variety.. granted, there isnt much variety to be had at pick 3 anyways, but rounds 2 and on is lots of variety, especially with trades

i usually dont like to do trades tho because a lot of times the simulators are terrible at proposing reasonable/fair trades and they're too hard ot predict

but with #3 pick, trading back is definitely an option

once more people start doing fantasy mocks and player rankings, the simulators start to get reasonably accurate

A lot of draft simulations i did a few years ago had Christian Barmore falling into 2nd round.. i remember the white knighter patsgofor4 making some snide condescending remarks about that.. and then it actually happened lol

ive iseen some mocks with JJ McCarthy going #1 lol

Bo Nix and Penix seem to consistently fall to the 2nd

Roman Wilson is a small, speedy receiver (like a tyreek hill/mecole hardman type) that could be had in round 3-4

I've seen a few really good OT prospects fall to round 2 as well, like Jordan Morgan

I need BaconGrundle's 2024 rankings

one thing that really fucking sucks... we could have an AMAZING draft if we didnt need a QB

We could get blue chippers at OT and WR to pair with our young qb.. that was the vision, but unfortunately Mac took a turd at midfield every game and we're back to square 1

we have 2 picks that are as close to guarantees as you can get... its possible to use the 2nd pick on a QB like Bo Nix or Penix, but other than that you arent getting one unless you take Williams, Maye or McCarty in rnd 1... and im not sold on JJ McC after watching the bowl games, seems incredibly raw.. and after watching Penix, i dont want to draft him unless its Day 3

there are a couple cant miss OT prospects we could get in top 5 picks... and then there are some very athletic freaks that are desirable prospects in round 2... after that, its a garbage dump

we need WR in a bad, bad way..... but the more i see the draft playing out, the more i see us going QB/OT in rounds 1-2, and there are some freak TEs that could also be in play in rounds 2-3.. we may have to try and hit on a mid round WR

Some WRs I'm a fan of so far that could be had after the 1st round are;

Roman Wilson
5-10 188 lbs
exsplosive athlete, like a tyreek hill/mecole hardman/desean jackson type... has some stoutness to him for being undersized compared to some of these other stig figures at WR

Xavier Legette
6-3 227 lbs
seems like a dice roll for a physical freak built like DK Metcalf in terms of size and speed.. id be willing to roll the dice, we need to in order to find a legit WR

Xavier Worthy
6-1 160 lbs
Basically a mirror image of Zay Flowers in terms of his rail thin build, but he's got elite acceleration and is an excellent route runner... doesnt have the top gear burner speed you'd like, but is definitely shifty and can get open

Troy Franklin
6-2 179 lbs
an outside WR (that can also play slot like Godwin). Good route runner that creates a lot of separation and is a YAC monster.. explosive playmaker

Devontez Walker
6-3 192 lbs
clocked in at over 23 mph in a game last year. Has elite speed, explosiveness and catch ability

Tyquan Thornton is a bust, so we need to take some shots at one of these guys to fill in that role Thornton was supposed to provide. Unless they draft MHJ, or trade back and grab Nabers, then i dont want them taking a WR until round 3

Some X factors for us will be if they choose to pursue a veteran QB over drafting one at 3.. or maybe they draft a QB in rounds 2-3 and sign a veteran to be the starter while the rookie develops

its crazy we have the #3 pick... should be an exciting draft

another WR ive been watching some highlights of is Adonai Mitchell

6'4" 194 lbs

Has decent speed, good body control and catch radius

id rather see one of these young guys play the Davante Parker role instead of overpaying him for his garbage production
