NFL GameDay Divisional Round GDT - Bills/Broncos, 49ers/Seahawks, Rams/Bears

GameDay Discussion
Here's all I know: after this game, Josh Allen stood up and took it like a man and said he was disappointed in himself. mcdermott chose to bitch about the officiating. the rest of that locker room now feels that they can make excuses for losing.

Captain Manicure with the pick deep in Rams territory

Ben Johnson declines 3 points on 4th and 3. Idiot.
Yep, these to me are the absolute dumbest ones, giving up an easy field goal to go for it, especially since a conversion still doesn’t get you a touchdown.

Puka Nacua has steroid skin

The Patriots game had intelligent 4th down coaching decisions. But bonehead decisions have been all over the league in these playoffs.

It’s 4th and 5 at Rams 20

How does the expected outcome of going for it average out to >3 points, when failing the do-or-die on the first play gives you 0 points? You’d need to assume almost 100% of the time you’d finish off the drive with a TD which certainly irrational. The math isn’t even there beyond that intuitively it also seems stupid.
