@Dingleberry
This quote from the Pope sounds familiar .... doesn't it?

Mary was chosen by God ... Good enough for me. She should be honored, revered even. Worshipped? No.Just so @everyone is aware, the "holy" and "infallible" pope completely lied about Scripture.
Least surprising development ever.
For those of you in the demon cult of Mary, consider your choice. What more do you need to see?

As for the Pope ... I thought the Bible taught us that the path to salvation was through Christ. I do not recall (and i am not a biblical scholar) anything in there saying the path to Christ was through the pope.
I have, for a long time now, felt that organized religion was for control. Go back - anyone could join the priesthood / holy orders. The "low" now had a hold on the highborn - their very soul.I love Mary. Can't wait to meet her. She can't intercede for shit, much less answer prayers.
Demonic teaching.
Many popes are on the short list of worst people in human history. The roman catholic structure is a means of control. Period. The bishop of Rome ended up being the most powerful of all the early churches (because it was fucking Rome), and they consolidate power through corruption and wealth.
That's your Roman church. Anyone who thinks salvation is thru the Vatican is fucked.

Give me an uncorrupted small town parish priest / minister any day. They tend to be far more honest.
Trying to piss off everyone today? I respect it.Just so @everyone is aware, the "holy" and "infallible" pope completely lied about Scripture.

All organizations are about control and efficiency, for better and/or worse. Despite Dingle's implications, that doesn't make them evil. Humans could not function as societies without organizations.
The current main problem with the Catholic church as a church is that it has been infiltrated and subverted by the far left, and one of the results of that is what we see here, which is the weaponizing of its influence.
I function fine in a church that isn't a corporation.
All organizations eventually either shut down or fail. It's always just a matter of time.
I consider myself agnostic. I'm not religious at all, so I don't buy into "antichrist" talk as literal prophecy or anything supernatural. But if we're just calling things what they are based on history and behavior, the Catholic Church has racked up one hell of a rap sheet that makes "evil" feel like an understatement at times.Just so @everyone is aware, the "holy" and "infallible" pope completely lied about Scripture.

Centuries of inquisitions, crusades, indulgences sold like spiritual snake oil, covering up systemic child abuse on a global scale while shuffling predators around like it was HR policy, amassing insane wealth while preaching poverty, and wielding political power like a mafia that never quite let go of the Middle Ages. Even today, the hierarchy often comes off as more obsessed with control, image, and institutional survival than anything resembling genuine spiritual good.
