Trade news: The Chicago White Sox are acquiring veteran right-hander Jordan Hicks and right-handed pitching prospect David Sandlin in a trade with the Boston Red Sox, sources tell ESPN. The Red Sox will receive a pitching prospect in return.
Good that Hicks is gone. I just hope the dump cost doesn't end up being too high.
Edit: They had to swallow a fair chunk of money, which will count over 2 seasons, and had to trade the better prospect.
So.... No bueno, but at least it's just a low level error admission.
