If Brown really does end up in New England, someone else has to go. If you're keeping Brown, Doubs and Hollins, and you're trying to maximize your WR group, who are you moving?
Brown is the better player right now, and Boutte's contract is up at the end of this season.

Assuming the team actually likes Boutte enough to keep him despite the rumors of him being shopped, that would make sense if the team was willing to pay Boutte after this season. But how do you get to a money number that satisfies Boutte when you're paying Brown and Doubs?
