i saw you rage out about the loyalty uber alles, but didnt see any reason why you felt Byard was a bad signing

Byard is a better player, so he's obviously going to cost more.. would you rather have Hawkins at $5M/year but not be a starter quality player?


This actually leads into something I was thinking about earlier today....


Understanding that the 2026-2027 team building is not complete, and we are just talking about how we think of them at the time of these postings, which position groups have improved since the SB, and which have either not improved or gotten worse?

The Eagles have agreed to terms with cornerback Jonathan Jones on a one-year deal, Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports.

Jones, 32, spent last season with the Commanders after nine seasons with the Patriots.

In 2025, he played 12 games with seven starts, seeing action on 484 defensive snaps and 39 on special teams. Jones totaled 41 tackles, one sack and five pass breakups...
