Trade rumors around
Las Vegas Raiders star Maxx Crosby just got more serious.
The Raiders have set a steep asking price for their
Pro Bowl edge rusher.
According to Pro Football Talk reporter Mike Florio, Las Vegas wants two first-round picks and a player in return for the 28-year-old.
Florio did not leave room for doubt.
“Will the Raiders trade defensive end Maxx Crosby? Yes, if they get what they want for him,” he
wrote. That line makes one thing clear. Crosby does not carry an untouchable label. The Raiders will listen if a team meets their terms.

Florio reported that the Raiders want two first-round draft picks and a player in return. He said this information came from a league source, and he also compared it to another big trade.
He mentioned that the
Dallas Cowboys got a similar package when they traded All-Pro linebacker
Micah Parsons to the Green Bay Packers in August. In that deal, the Packers sent defensive lineman Kenny Clark and two first-round picks to Dallas.
“The quality of player the Raiders want wasn’t specified. Presumably, it’s a starting-caliber contributor,” Florio wrote. He also stressed that draft position matters. Two picks from a playoff team do not carry the same value as picks from a struggling club.
This report adds more detail to what Raiders general manager John Spytek said at the
NFL Scouting Combine on Tuesday. Spytek tried to silence the rumors about trading Crosby, especially the talk linking him to the
New England Patriots. Still, this new report shows the Raiders could consider a trade if they get the right offer.
Crosby proved his value in 2025. He had a career-high 28 tackles for loss, along with 20 quarterback hits and 10 sacks in 15 games. He was one of the team’s most productive players all season.
Now teams know the price. If anyone wants Crosby, they will have to give up a lot. The Raiders have made their asking price clear, and a huge trade could happen if a team meets it.
