2026 Draft and Free Agent news

Chubb would interest me. Reeks Hill? Not for fucking Free.

maybe 3 years ago

Chubb's had a couple of good years, but has mostly been absolutely replaceable. To me, he's a "Nobody picked him up? Well, we could give him a minimum type of "prove it" deal".

Hill, on the other hand, would be worth at least looking into and keeping an eye on, as long as Vrabel feels he can deal with the off-the-field problems that come with him.

You think Hill still has stuff left in the tank after that leg injury?

At 31? Unless there is a hance to move up for a quality OT, take the best player available. Corner, Safety, LB ... all could really help. Guard or Center - needs to be near generational.

I don't know about which round, or whether through free agency or what, but this team needs to upgrade over Hawkins.

Hawkins was insanely valuable given his $2.5M salary

for a starting safety, that is an absolute steal

he's in for a huge raise via free agency

Hill’s probably washed but a top-of-the-league deep threat with a lot of speed would compliment Maye’s apparent deep ball accuracy.

He's best as a 3rd safety in today's game, at least in the team's current system. If wants to stay in New England and be paid accordingly, I'm all for it. If he wants big money, I wish him good luck getting it elsewhere and hope that the Patriots don't make the mistake of giving it to him here.
