The problem is that the team has to choose between the guard that can't play guard in the NFL (strange) and the center who can't pass block in the NFL (Bradbury), because they failed to sign a top line OG in the offseason. And, because they chose stay-and-take-the-RB instead of moving up for Simmons, even the OT spots are a concern, even if that becomes only a depth concern.
This team could have traded up for Simmons, and then had an OT trio of Campbell, Simmons and Moses to rotate for the season, and one or both of the rookies could have spent some time at LG, too. Instead, they'll have a dynamic running back and a QB who's got to hope that a pair of rookie offensive lineman get the job done and stay healthy, while one of two veteran stiffs magically finds a way to become a legit player.
Of course, the real problem, the issue that set all of this OL struggling into motion, is that last season's draft/FA was a disaster, and last year's OL ended up being so bad that fixing it in just one season was always going to be a tough assignment.
