Robert Edwards could have been that guy.
He probably would've, although I wasn't the biggest fan of his. With that said, him returning in year 2 may have caused a ripple effect and prevented BB/Tom Brady from going to the Pats. Do the Pats take Kevin Faulk in round 2 had Edwards been healthy? It's doubtful. I think Edwards would've been good enough to give the Pats at least 1 game making them 9-7. And maybe in two of those games between KC and Buffalo, Adam is put in a more favorable spot to not miss multiple game winning kicks. Then you have the Miami home game blowing a double digit lead. 11-5 was on the table for them with or without Edwards.
The dude never Ever should've been taken ahead of Moss or Vonnie Holliday.
That was the era they were in though. The RB was the #1 priority on offense or even team after QB. Had the Pats kept Martin like a normal team would've, Moss or Holliday would've been taken. Glad Moss was taken before Tebucky Jones or that would've been brutal for us.

this guy is going to be a beast of a pick, i can feel it
Yeah I like him more than Judkins, and Judkins is a beast. Just ask women in the Fort Lauderdale area.

Having him and Henderson could be huge ... should be huge. If Rhamondre can just settle down a little it gives Henderson time to learn and adapt. then start running some two back sets with them. both can run, both can catch, both are powerful enough for pass protection.
If the OL can generate any push whatsoever, a near 50/50 run/pass combo would absolutely punish defenses between the two of them.

Too much sub-starting-caliber mediocrity there. Nobody's scaring anyone.
Trade for McLaurin and pay him. McLaurin and Diggs with Pop in the slot is a good enough trio if we’re going to be a run-heavy team. And I’m not expecting the Diggs of old either.

I want to kill myself this is bullshit. Sell the team Jerry!

In all seriousness TC has been great so far too

Cowboys camp in Oxnard’s going. Dak’s sharp, hitting Pickens, but deep throws need work. Rookie RB Jaydon Blue’s impressing. Defense is feisty—Elam and Hooker grabbing picks, and rookie DE Ezeiruaku’s meshing with Parsons. RB, WR3, and O-line spots are up for grabs, but injuries like Jones’ neck are giving rookies like Booker a chance. Schottenheimer’s got the team pumped. Secondary and RB depth’s iffy. Rams practice on Aug 5’s gonna be a test.

Not meshing with Parsons for much longer

Doubtful that Niggs accepts sharing targets with a WR who's truly better than him, in every single way imaginable too.. It would help the team immensely but hurt him financially; and we All should know which path he's gonna choose...
