2025 Training Camp thread.

They need a backup Slot AND a backup Outside CB, unless you feel that Alex Austin is all that & a bag o' chips...

Jones can play both slot and outside, though he's obviously better in the slot. In a pinch, he can be slid to the outside as long as you've got someone else who can fill in at the slot position. But, again, I'm with you in that 5 starter-level CBs is what you really want.

He really told the Pats to "fuck off?" What's the story behind that? He did the Pats a favor and is going to crash and burn in NY.
They could legitimately start 1-5/0-6. At that point, you might see them tank for Arch.

Spillane is a playmaker and he's absolutely going to lead the team in tackles with ease. However, people are just going to see things differently like Bedard. I usually agree with Bedard, but not here. Spillane has the 9th most Interceptions in the NFL since 2020 - so he makes plays. Other media media guys I watched yesterday (I think it was Kyles) said he was impressed with Spillane. Since many of us have watched football for so long, our expectations may be unrealistic on how the player should be. I really don't like the style of this new NFL, but we can't compare these guys to prior eras. The league looks like they are adopting the 2000's Colts philosophy were we see a lot of light, but fast mediocre LB's.

Kyles is more a homo for football players than Christian Wilkins is, especially for the black ones. He has Zero objectivity & credibility.

Marcus the Midget can NOT play Outside. He absolutely fucking Sucks there. That's not even an option.
