Spillane is a playmaker and he's absolutely going to lead the team in tackles with ease. However, people are just going to see things differently like Bedard. I usually agree with Bedard, but not here. Spillane has the 9th most Interceptions in the NFL since 2020 - so he makes plays. Other media media guys I watched yesterday (I think it was Kyles) said he was impressed with Spillane. Since many of us have watched football for so long, our expectations may be unrealistic on how the player should be. I really don't like the style of this new NFL, but we can't compare these guys to prior eras. The league looks like they are adopting the 2000's Colts philosophy were we see a lot of light, but fast mediocre LB's.
