Who else will be watching the careers closely with Travis Hunter, Abdul Carter and Will Campbell?
Hunter more than Carter, for me. This was the perfect draft for the Patriots to take Hunter, then trade up for their LT (Simmons). And that's why I'll be watching Simmons, too, because even after the team had taken Campbell, the play was still to trade back into the first round and take the LT (Simmons).

I’m not sure Carter has the potential to be a “generational” type of talent either. Hunter does. You add that to the fact that WR was more of a need than DE, and it’s no contest. The Jags probably made the least ballsy gamble ever and ended up with a WR corps of BTJ (my binky last year), Hunter, and Dyami Brown. They’re quietly loaded at that position, plus Hunter can play CB, too.
The Texans did it for the 2023 draft. Then the Panthers traded with the Bears and took Bryce Young instead of C.J. Stroud.
