I went to the game tonight with my brother, for the first time in maybe > 35 years. My daughter's boss was given two tickets in Loge Box 124 late yesterday afternoon but neither he nor her could go, so the two of us ended-up being the beneficiaries... As children of children of Ireland, we ate at the Landsdowne before the game; the toasted corn bread, steak & cheese egg rolls & the Reuben sammiches were all very good... But for Ganja Satan's sake, could an Irish pub please for once play...Irish music?!?

We were staring right down the 3rd base line all the way to Fisk's Fair Pole... All the deep-ball action was more towards left-center & right-center, but it was still a helluva view...

Red Sox rookie starting pitcher Hunter Dobbins came up hobbling after he covered first base during the second inning of Friday night’s dramatic win over the Rays.

At the time, it wasn’t clear what exactly happened to Dobbins, other than the team calling it a right knee injury. An MRI late on Friday revealed Dobbins had structural damage to his right knee. The Sox announced that Dobbins has a torn right ACL (anterior cruciate ligament). He will miss the rest of the regular season.
