The NFL's plan for dealing with the late rounds is to largely ignore the late rounds in favor to narratives and stories, but I don't see how the NBA could do the same thing, because of how top heavy their drafts are.

For LG:
Round 4, Pick 137: Joshua Farmer, DT, Florida State
- Ayrton Ostly, USA TODAY Sports: A
Round 5, Pick 146: Bradyn Swinson, Edge, LSU
New England hits defensive line again in Round 6 with Swinson. The LSU product has an impressive wingspan for his height and athleticism to be a force in pass rush but he needs to improve in setting the edge in run defense. He can grow into a contributor for the Patriots' improving defense.
Round 6, Pick 182: Andres Borregales, K, Miami
Round 6 isn't too early for a kicker so the Patriots don't get penalized for that in these grades. Borregales isn't a power kicker but is instead one of the most accurate in the class with an incredibly repeatable and reliable kicking motion. That'll come in handy in outdoor, mixed conditions in New England.
I like that they traded up for him there, shows they were not willing to lose out on him.
We should be able to get a good look at the team's defensive coaching in action with today's picks, so we've got ourselves a nice season-long narrative to follow.

With pick 251, the Patriots draft a long snapper, Julian Ashby, from Vanderbuilt
At #257, the Patriots take Mr. Irrelevant, Kobee Minor, DB out of Memphis
It's nice to have an actual LT to play beside Campbell when he's moved to LG!
