2025 College Football season watch thread.

Interesting day, with Penn State and Texas both losing games they had no business losing, and with Alabama shutting up a Vanderbilt team that had gotten really cocky....

I am not a CFB follower, but I did watch the game highlights (Texas v Florida).

Is all the Arch Manning hype strictly name-based? None of his passes had either zip or touch. Yeah, he hit a few deep, but none looked good at all.

He is to Eli like Eli is to Peyton skill level wise.

All hype for now
he needs to go back to college

This is a motherfucking Rembrandt painting. A masterpiece. Dallas Wilson is a phenom. A new rivalry has been born. Horns down, baby. The Swamp was absolutely rocking on Saturday, and it did the same thing to Arch as it did to his queer uncle, Peyton.

Have you seen the teams he played in High School? They were running at half speed. I’m not sure more college will make much of a difference for him. He was pampered when he was younger, got a massive NIL deal just for his name alone, and hasn’t improved much when it comes to reading defenses. He didn’t get going until we went into a soft shell.

Colorado Buffaloes head coach Deion Sanders required another procedure to treat blood clots, the Hall of Famer told reporters on Tuesday.

Amid questions and concerns about his health, Deion Sanders revealed in July that he had his bladder removed after doctors discovered a cancerous tumor. After the Buffaloes lost to TCU on Saturday, Coach Prime also announced that he had more blood clots in his leg, was in a lot of pain and had a scheduled doctor’s appointment for Monday.

Sanders’ announcement on Saturday was the latest health scare involving the Pro Football Hall of Famer and two-time Super Bowl champion, who also had to have two toes on his left foot amputated due to blood clots.

Per ESPN, Deion Sanders told reporters that he was undergoing another surgery on Tuesday to treat the blood clot issues in his legs:
“I trust God with all my heart and all my soul and all my mind. I’m going to go in there (surgery), and I’m going to get some of the best sleep in the world for, I think, four hours, the surgery is going to be. “I’ve never been high a day in my life. I’ve never drank, smoked or anything. But when I get those surgeries, I am there on time.”
With his bladder having to be removed, doctors used Sanders’ small intestine to make up a neobladder, which leads to increased urination. Colorado officials placed a portable toilet on the sidelines to accommodate Sanders so that he doesn’t have to wait between halftime breaks to use the washroom.

Here’s hoping Sanders’ surgery was a success and that he has a safe and speedy recovery.

If we fire Napier, I would love to hire Curt Cignetti. Indiana is beating Oregon on the road, they’re 5-0 coming into the game, and they’ve only had one recruiting cycle in the last four inside the top 50. He could do wonders at Florida.
