Sort of the same for me about losing the big bets on "sure thing" picks, though the losing started earlier, and I did try pairing some of my "sure thing" picks with teasers, only to have that bite me in the ass.

I'll likely desperately need that by next week...

I have a tough time verbalizing the shape, so I asked internet and AI for help. A dingleberry is a piece of dried and hardened turd that is suspended from one's ass hairs. They dangle freely and gracefully like wind chimes and form into many small clusters ... A dingleberry is typically described as being small, roundish or nugget-shaped, and resembling a little ball or crumb. Its shape is often compared to a pea, a sprinkle, or a Dippin' Dot.

Or perhaps a triangle (no reason)

As for a letter, the first thing that came to mind was F (as in F.U.) But I do see the merits of the suggestions above.
