Many know 1 Corinthians 13:13
And now abide faith, hope, love, these three;
But the greatest of these is love.
The meaning behind this is often lost though. Why is love the greatest of the three? Two answers:
1. God IS Love. More verses on this fact later.
2. Heaven is all about love. However, there will be no faith and hope in heaven. There is no NEED for them! Faith and hope are God's gift to us on this side of heaven for salvation. We walk by faith not sight. In heaven, we will walk by sight...surrounded by love.
