Yeah it's a clown show. The LeBron era Lakers are the most unlikeable Lakers teams I've watched since the late 80's. Whether LeBron and AD are healthy, they are the most high maintenance players that need the supporting cast to shoot 40% from 3. They put up too many empty stats.Probably.

Lakers fans loved Kobe because he was never afraid to take over games and didn't need the rest of the team to launch 3's.

It's actually a surprise because they've had horrible starts the last few years. This roster is the worst I've seen in a long time. Horrendous off-season by LeGM. They'll be lucky to be a first round exit.
Even though we have a semi-rivalry over the years, I always found the Kobe and Shaq Lakers likable. It’s a shame that Kobe had to get his name dragged through the mud by someone with half of Los Angeles’ semen up her tubes before we knew what the game was. Back then, she was automatically believed. But he balled the fuck out though. I’ll always remember Shaq embarrassing Dudley so badly that Dudley lost his temper and acted like he could actually do something. My dad and I laughed out loud at the TV when this happened.

I have friend from LA. I was telling him the other day how the only team I really dislike from LA is the Lakers from all those 80s battles but I agree with you that we respected them. I also agree with Rainmaker that the Lebron era Lakers are so unlikeable. So soft and high maintenance. I can't believe he forced them to draft his son. Has any NBA player ruined the sport more than Lebron?
