A star wide receiver could slip in the upcoming NFL draft after recent developments. Following a three-year college career, the prospect declared for the draft, projected to be selected in the latter stages of the first round.


Texas A&M star KC Conception suffered bad news ahead of the big night. The wide receiver underwent knee surgery, which could have a negative effect on his draft stock, a little over a month before the event.

NFL insider Mike Garafolo reported on Monday that Concepcion underwent a knee scope, a routine and preventative procedure. Dallas Cowboys team physician Daniel Cooper performed it last week.

KC Concepcion Could Be Ready For Rookie Camp​

Garafolo added that Concepcion should be 100% ready when rookie camp arrives. Fortunately, the news wouldn’t affect his draft stock. Playoff contenders and Super Bowl hopefuls should be interested in the prospect. Teams such as the San Francisco 49ers, Denver Broncos, and Buffalo Bills are projected to be in the mix to trade Concepcion.



He spent his first two seasons with the North Carolina State Wolfpack before transferring to Texas A&M. He caught 185 passes for 2,218 yards and 25 touchdowns before declaring for the draft. Now, some might question whether his latest procedure could become a risk to whoever drafts him.

The Kansas City Chiefs could also make a swing for his services. But more options are on the table for the AFC West team. Concepcion comes off a strong showing at the combine, so teams will have more factors to study before making a decision on the WR.

i wasnt pumped about Doubs... because he was basically our #1 WR when he should be a good #2... With AJ Brown, we would have some serious talent at the WR position going forward for Maye

I just can't get over Brown looking like he's already 45 years old. Can't be a good sign for the health of his body if he's aging like that.

if they draft WR in 1st or even 2nd round, then i dont think there is any chance they pull the trigger on an AJ Brown trade at that point

unless they dont want to pay Boutte and let him walk to free agency, which i think would be a mistake.. hes been a playmaker for us and has chemistry with Maye

Even though the Philadelphia Eagles made a final decision on AJ Brown’s immediate future, the wide receiver continues to be a central piece of trade rumors. The New England Patriots look like the favorites to land him in a couple of months, but other teams could try to ruin their plans.


The Los Angeles Rams ruled themselves out of the race for Brown, leaving the door wide open for the AFC East team. New England signed Romeo Doubs in free agency, adding a new weapon after Stefon Diggs left.

On Thursday, social media sensation Rickey Scoops reported that the Eagles and Patriots came to an agreement regarding AJ Brown. The trade would be official on June 2 due to financial reasons.

Later on, Carlos Lopez shared a couple of pictures of Patriots safety Kevin Byard’s offseason workout. Byard appeared with AJ Brown in one of them.




The one-time Super Bowl champion grew up following the Patriots, as Saquon Barkley admitted. It would be a full-circle moment for him, but fans will have to wait before the Eagles make a final decision on his future.
